Return and Liability Policy

Liability

Your plant’s health and your trust are important to us. If you have any concerns, we're  happy to help — but please note:

Once an item leaves our care, we are not responsible for any damage, delays, or loss caused during shipping or after delivery. Please check tracking regularly and make sure your package is brought inside promptly.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to research and understand how to properly care for the plant they are purchasing. We are happy to answer care questions, but cannot offer replacements due to improper care.

Pest Policy

While we take every possible precaution to keep my plants healthy, we cannot guarantee that any plant is 100% pest-free. However, we follow strict care practices to minimize risk:

  • All plants are regularly inspected and treated as needed

  • We maintain separate areas for mother plants, growing stock, and for-sale plants

  • Quarantines and preventative treatments are part of our routine

  • Every plant is cleaned and inspected before being listed, and again before shipment

  • We do not sell any plants that are know have active pests or other health issues

Packaging & Care

  • Plants are carefully packed for a safe trip from Detroit, MI

  • I do my best to pack your plant with care, but I am not responsible for shipping delays, weather issues, or damage caused by the carrier

  • Please check the carrier’s policy regarding liability for lost or damaged packages before choosing your shipping option

Issues Upon Arrival

  • An unboxing video is required for any plant claims

  • Any concerns must be brought to my attention within 12 hours of delivery

  • Claims made after this time or without video proof will not be accepted

Refunds & Exchanges

  • All plant sales are final

Return Policy: Non-Plant

We want you to love your purchase! If you're not completely satisfied, here's how our return process works:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Final sale items cannot be returned.

  • Refund Processing can take up to 30 days after receiving return to receive your refund. If for some reason you have not received a refund after 30 days of receiving the return, please contact us at info@happyhouseplanthaven.com 

To start a return, please contact us at info@happyhouseplanthaven.com with your order number and reason for return. Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions.
