Pre-sifted chunky perlite for building your own airy potting mixes.

Chunky Perlite is our all-purpose large perlite, sized 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Mix it into soil to open up air pockets, speed up drainage and keep heavy mixes from packing down. It's pre-sifted, so you get chunky pieces without a bag full of fine dust.

Why plant parents love it

Which perlite do you need?

• Coarse Perlite (1/8 to 3/8 inch): lightens everyday potting soil, seed starting and propagation.
• Chunky Perlite #3 (1/4 to 1/2 inch): the all-rounder for chunky aroid, hoya and succulent mixes.
• Super Chunky Perlite #4 (3/4 to 1 inch): maximum airflow for large aroids, big pots and very chunky mixes.

Tip

Perlite can be dusty. Mist it with a little water before mixing to keep dust down.

Available in 1 gallon (4 qt), 2.38 gallon (9.5 qt) and 4.75 gallon (19 qt) bags. Ships in a resealable zip bag.
