A kicked-up, peat-free everyday mix for hoyas, philodendrons and anthuriums.

Chunky Aroid Mix blends pre-buffered coco coir with coco husk chips, fir bark, pumice and chunky perlite. The chunks give roots room to breathe, while the coir holds just enough moisture to carry your plant between waterings. It's the upgrade from dense bagged potting soil that stays wet for days.

Best for

• Hoyas
• Philodendrons
• Anthuriums
• Filling moss poles
• Root-bound plants and plants stuck in dense nursery soil

Haven's pick: I love this one for my hoyas and philodendrons. It also makes a great moss pole filler!

Why plant parents love it

• Chunky and airy. Large pieces create air pockets so roots can breathe.
• Drains fast, holds moisture. Extra water runs through while coco coir keeps the mix evenly damp.
• Peat-free. A coco-based blend with no peat moss.
• Pre-buffered coco. Treated so the coco won't tie up the calcium and magnesium your plants need.
• Mycorrhizae added. Beneficial fungi that partner with roots to support healthy root growth.
• Ready to use. No rinsing or mixing. Open the bag and repot.

Ingredients

Pre-buffered coco coir and coco husk chips, chunky perlite, fir bark chips, charcoal chips, pumice and mycorrhizae fungi.
