Everyday perlite for lighter, better-draining potting soil.

Coarse Perlite is pre-sifted perlite sized 1/8 to 3/8 inch. It blends evenly into regular potting soil, seed-starting mix and propagation setups, adding air pockets and drainage without making the mix too chunky. It's the easy fix for bagged soil that stays wet too long.

Which perlite do you need?

• Coarse Perlite (1/8 to 3/8 inch): lightens everyday potting soil, seed starting and propagation.
• Chunky Perlite #3 (1/4 to 1/2 inch): the all-rounder for chunky aroid, hoya and succulent mixes.
• Super Chunky Perlite #4 (3/4 to 1 inch): maximum airflow for large aroids, big pots and very chunky mixes.

Tip

Perlite can be dusty. Mist it with a little water and wear a mask before mixing for safety.
